Notes from the crew on how roofs fail, how claims work and what we look at before we quote anything. Written for homeowners, not for other roofers.

Three things worth reading before you call anyone

We write these because the same questions come up on the driveway every week. Nothing here is a sales pitch. If a post saves you a service call, that is a good outcome.

Why we publish this

Method, not marketing

Roofing is one of the few purchases where the product sits where you cannot see it. That gap is why so much bad work gets sold. The fix is not louder advertising, it is showing homeowners how the work is actually judged so they can judge it themselves.

Every post here sticks to method: what we look at, in what order, and why. Where a decision depends on your particular roof, we say so rather than guessing on your behalf.

  • Photos of every slope, taken during the walk, shared with you afterwards.
  • A written scope you can hand to another contractor for comparison.
  • A repair recommendation when a repair will do the job.
  • Clear answers on what we found, what it means and what happens if you wait.

Questions that are not covered here usually are on the FAQs page. If yours is not, call the office and ask.
